Long story short, I was in Iraq as part of a .gov investigation. I was there with the Marshalls Service. I'm back now and was never in any serious shit, relatively speaking.
I don't remember your severence letter on ARA, I abandoned that place ages ago in favor of the newer Global Justice Alliance, which was basically just a refuge for all the members fed-up with ARA's draconian leadership. However, due to work and whatnot, I kinda drifted out of the fandom and haven't been on any KP-related site in about a year or so... 'til now, when I stumbled across my old DA account here and saw this comment.
I'm doing great, as is my family. Still with the Marshalls Service in LA, as well as doing some private consulting work for the entertainment industry through Independant Studio Services in Sunland, CA.
Oh, that's interesting; I thought you were still with the local police. I initally thought you were in contract with mercs like Blackwater or DynaCorp, unless that was the whole reason for the government's investigation. Heck, I don't know.
As for my severence back on ARA, the rest of you guys were fine, but I just got fed up with Jaberwocky's self-righteous BS and one comment of his just sent me off the deep end. I knew I didn't like his pathetic butt for some reason.
As for me, I've graduated college, learning gunsmithing, learning Libertarian concepts, and am working on a novel. Twenty-seven chapters down, and God only knows when the story ends.

Yeah, not gonna comment on the investigation... but I was there working with Air force OSI and the FBI. I wasn't involved with any PMCs. I've been with the US Marshals Service for about two years now... was assigned to the Pacific Southwest Regional Fugitive Taskforce out of LA, but now I'm sort of jumping around on different taskforces of various sorts.
I fell-out from ARA a long time before most of the other members did... back when Phil Literate was still around. He PMed me one day complaining about an internet troll who had spammed the site, and produced a frightening amount of personal info on the individual (Including name, age, description, address, and notes from a surveillance Phil had done on the guys house). I, in turn, forwarded Phil Literate's info to the "troll's" local police department as an FYI, and the FBI to investigate if any laws had been broken by Phil. The "troll" ended up filing a restraining order against Phil. After that, Phil queued my account so anything I posted would have to be approved by himself, Erased Paper (Who, by the way, was either a friend of Phil's who posted from the same location, or Phil himself with his own fabricated yes-man), and Jabberwocky. The trio also had a habit of trying to bait me and argue with just about everything I posted... especially Jabberwocky. They also felt that my posting on RonStoppable.net amounted to aiding terrorists or some shit...
After Jerridean and the other normal members broke off and formed the Global Justice Alliance, I registered there and posted for a while before moving on.
Out of curiosity, what did Jabberwocky say that set you off?

As for my falling out on ARA, I was being blunt on the message board, as per my usual self, and he did not like it. And, he typed something, playing it as sanctimonious and self-righteous - I can't remember what, exactly - but that was the straw that broke the camel's back. I just tore him a new oriface online and never looked back. Serves him right.
Anyway, I'm into Total Drama Island, now. How 'bout you?
